A limp and quarrelsome rabbit-toy
named Rrrabit is discarded
from the toy conveyer belt because one of his legs is shorter
than the other and falls into the city of waste, Junk
City. There he meets a colorful bunch of junk creatures: the
paper man Einstein,
the wire Edison, the
rag Earl, the handkerchief
Hanky and the electrical
dog Douglas. They are
all amateur musicians living together in a wheeled little house
dreaming about their first rock concert.
Junk City is a vibrant place run by the arrogant Mayor-Mayor,
a fat garbage bag with an insatiable appetite. He intends to put
unruly junks like Rrrabit and his new friends in their right places.
Rrrabit is limp, quarrelsome and sentimental. He disturbs his
new friends’ life with talks about a different, glamorous
world called Big City and his challenging behavior gets Hanky
and the friends into trouble.
Together they embark on adventures that will change
the future of the entire junk world. |
